Abstract:

This analysis identifies the primary challenges and opportunities for older adults living in the region and presents a picture of the gaps in services to older adults in the RRR. Results of the individual study components appear in more detailed form in the report’s appendices. “The purpose of the analysis is to provide an in-depth understanding of home-based services not tied to an institutional setting, determine the adequacy of these services and the unmet needs for such services in the RRR.” (Source: RRR Senior Gap Analysis, p. 11)
The report includes aging populations projections, trends, qualitative evaluations provided by both aging adults and caregivers. It closes with recommendations.
